The Trent Lock Activity Centre is in great demand for weekend camps during the summer. In order to make it available as fairly as possible to all interested groups, we adopted a slightly different allocation system in 2012. Following the success of the system, we will continue the policy for 2013.

No firm allocations will be declared before October 2012. If you want to be considered for a 2013 weekend camp then please write or email the booking secretary asap giving approximate camper numbers and preferred dates – but with alternatives. Remember that June is the most popular and therefore difficult month. April, August and October usually have available weekends.

During September 2012 we shall review the booking allocation. There will be a very small number of priority groups (e.g. Long Eaton District Scouts). The rest will be arranged to spread the load of bigger camps in order to avoid wearing out our volunteer helpers. As far as possible you will get your preferred dates but we need to know alternatives too.

After the October allocation, it will be first come, first served and the weekend availability will be displayed at our website's availability page.

For evening hire, please note that we will not be taking bookings for next season until February 2013 .

Please note that we shall strictly apply the requirement for a deposit within 28 days of the firm booking allocation. After that the weekend will be made available to others if no deposit has been received.
