Trent Lock Scout Activity Centre is a water-based activity centre. It is situated in Derbyshire on the south bank of the River Trent near its junction with the Erewash Canal, south of Long Eaton. It is approached from the north bank of the Trent, where the Scout ferry takes you across the river to the landing stage.
The site offers camping and water activities for Scouts, Guides and other organisations. Water Activity Camps are very popular over the weekends and will typically include sailing, kayaking, canadian canoeing, rafting, pioneering, archery.
Evening visits are welcome especially by local Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides and other Groups, particularly youth groups.
Trent Lock Scout Activity Centre is run by a team of around 80 volunteers who are all members of the Trent Lock Active Support Unit. We are part Long Eaton District Scouts. Click here to visit the district website for more information.
